AuthorGhosts of Necromancers are very weak
hello.

I'm a necromancer player and i think ghosts hp are so low. the enemy only needs a magic arrow with 72 damage to kill 9 of the ghosts ( 8 hp ) . even if i raise them again, they'll have only 4 hp and will die much more quickly with magic.

but look at apparitions ( upgraded ghosts ), they have +11 more hp!! how is that? 8 >>> 19 ?! this is too much for an upgraded creature.

if you have played " Heroes of might and magic V " , you have seen that ghosts in there have 16 hp, and apparitions have 19 hp. why lordswm hasn't followed this Feature, but has followed all other creatures' features hp, att, def, initiative and... like Heroes of Might and Magic V ?

because of ghosts' low hp, you see that ghosts are weakest level 3 creatures.

^^ Its about luck with ghosts, not power ;)
if your enemy is a dark elf or a wizard, ghosts will die very easily with their magic. if your enemy isn't these two factions, then you can talk about "luck", not "power" of ghosts ( 8 hp!! very weak!! )
^^ Then use other creatures or tactic, necro army isnt only ghosts/apps :)

8hp means also that you can raise 15 ghosts with 1 rise of the dead. and at your leve 15 ghosts means a lot of problems for your enemies.

Build your upgrades for skell (raise your labourer's guild level, it's too low) and you'll enjoy a lot when a DE chose your ghosts as the target for its spells.

If you hate it so much quit whining and wasting your time and change faction. Every faction has its drawbacks and in my personal opinion ghosts are fantastic unit

p.s. bear in mind low hp can means u can raise almost a whole stack in 1 go!
On 5th level magic is the best. But to deal 72 damage with magic wizard should be full arted or it should DE with elemental call. Anyway, 72 damage is great damage for magic build on 5th level in pvp fights. And, by the way, wizards are one of the strongest and difficult to defeat faction on 5th level.

necro offensive army is ghost, vamps haven't much damage ( usually 40 to 70 damage ). but ghosts could have more than 100 damage. so they are very important.
but a simple magic will perish them ( because they have 8 hp ). in Heroes of Might and Magic V, they have 16 hp. this game has followed all of HOM&MV ghosts' features, but why hasn't followed in this feature of ghosts?

about 7. , i wanted to say this, maybe there is a mistake in game because the hp of ghosts are too different with their upgraded ghosts. ( +11 hp for a lvl 3 creature. 8 hp ghosts, 2 times more plus 3 hp apparitions ) i thought perhaps there is a mistake.

There are lot of differences from the game you refer. One that you haven't probably noticed is that here the magic (almost all spells) is exactly half effective.

Really, I can undestand your problems cause you are a level 5 necro without sk archers. Try to enroll more and collect the money for the upgrade and you'll feel the necropower! Topic like that are not going to help you feeling better, not the community.

The ghosts have low hp to balance at the game at low levels.
^^ LWM is inspired by HoMM but its not a copy or online version so different approaches needed and of course there'll be faction disadvantages towards another faction(s) at any levels. It means there's faction(s) that just cant(hardly) be defeated by yours.
