Why is it important to be in a clan?
I've received some private mail offering to join a clan, but they all ask for gold, why is that?

I guess they want your gold then :-)
Right now, there are only few important clans with real game effect. Most of them are military clans(you cant ambush or be ambushed by your military clanmate). Some clans offer valuable services. Thats about it. The less the better in my opinion. |

Clan custom tournies are illegal and any clan running them is likely to harsh punishment.
3.22. Any custom combat tournaments with a prize reward and/or a participation fee are forbidden.
Custom card game tournaments are allowed. |
Why is it important to be in a clan?
Maybe you should be asking this question to each of those clan recruiters. And if they don't give you an answer that you like, then you just don't join them. It's just that simple. :) |
