My idea is that in the next survival tournament that it is completelly about tactics, and to do that it would require no artifacts and no diamond upgrades. The scores will all be close and the player with the best tactics would win each level and faction.
I know one point of the tournament is to make players use their gold to buy art to get the best score they can, and usually the player with the best arts has the best score, so try a tournament with no art and no diamond upgrades so all players (poor and wealthy) can see who has the best tactics. |

Sorry for saying this, but if You check the results of all tournaments (battles also) You will see it is not trivial that only players of best arts and of diamond upgrades can win or reach a high score. There are several examples for a high score in firts 3 of faction without diamond upgrades
However it is true that players have some better chances, but score depends much more on tactics, set up of army and talents.
For example there are allways 'critical' waves and who finds the best solution for them can 'survive' longer.... |

It says Survival tournaments well be held fortnightly, so try not to suggest other tourney formats here...
I think restricting arts, means it will all end up coming down to who has the better statistics. In general someone who is much further through level 12 (example.), may have an advantage over a new level 12, because they have had more time to earn +1 primary skill bonuses and such, which would end up being crucial. |
