|I am a Level 2 wizard with 2 knowledge points.|
Just graduated to level 3.
Should i increase Knowledge or spell power?
What is the math involved ?
|Magic punch damage: 20+4*Spell power|
0 SP 3 KN: 6 times, 20 damage each, total 120 damage;
1 SP 2 KN: 4 times, 24 damage each, total 96 damage.
The Wizard characters also have an increase to the damage they deal with spells to neutral creatures at hunt and on Mercenaries' Guild errands:
# in case of direct damaging spells, [final damage]=[normal damage]*(2+[faction skill level])/2;
# in case of re of effect damaging spells, [final damage]=[normal damage]*([spell area]+[faction skill level])/[spell area].

AND it is sometimes better to have 4x 24 than 6x 20 becauce you can take out 2 orcs directly in stead of 1 and you ll receive less damage yourself

No it doesn't. They get the same multiplier.

You are referring to the damage matching up to the kills. Overall it is better to do lower damage attacks to waste less of your damage.

As with any larger damage attacks this is true.
So there are pros and cons to each decision. This is why these decisions are situational depending your combat. Overall I would go with the 0 SP 3 KN: 6 times, 20 damage each, total 120 damage;
This is because it has higher overall total damage and wizards are able to withstand more damage than other factions.
