despite the good intentions although, our odmen might not look favourably on those who play on both servers ;} here is a story to tell:
back in the remote past, when the earth was without form and our empire was but a humble settlement, when the most exciting looted item was a hunter hat and kusika was struggling with 40 goblins (ok, you got the idea), there was an inquisitive predecessor who created a topic in the 2 pages long OGF "what are you doing while your health regenerates?". other precursors has been giving their answers and the 3rd level noobie georgia also posted her answer there - "nothing special, i'm just playing my russian character." to my great surprise, this post was deleted couple of hours later by alexander (adm) himself with no explanation.

In fact the clan is more a support group for players like me who dont knew the language and wouldnt go there if this Server wasnt doomed. I hopped on a liddle lifesaving boat so that i dont drown here.
If i even understood the slightest russian you couldnt read this post.
The good thing about this clan is that there are some that life there for a bit longer and help or even understand russian so that they can speak for us/me because i am not able to.
An other fantastic feature is that you can start again with some of the best players on this server available and rock the server. |

nice story. maybe back then, admins were hoping that this server would become "the better" of the two. as scary as it sounds (this post getting deleted), i'll continue to play on .ru :)
anyway, we held elections for new permanent leader on russian server. Jabbar was elected and will lead Empire's Crusaders to some glorious future :P
and by Friday we will have a high council with 1 representative from each of .coms military clans + 1 freelancer. our english war clan on ru is as fair as it can be.
we'll have a lot fun on .ru in "wartime events" that never happen on this server. |
I wish to offer participants of a clan on .ru a server, the basic forces to spend not on game on .ru a server, and for that as that to affect administration that she has recollected and us, have seen our problems and began to show though any activity. Let's become active on .ru forums, those who do not know Russian can use the translator.
It is possible to "occupy" a forum "Off-game forum" as it mod's it is less severe, to create there themes and to inform the problems =) |

those who become active on .ru forums usually get their enthusiasm cooled pretty quickly =} especially those who try to "occupy" it... but in most cases a thread gets pushed out from the mainpage within 15-20 minutes and doesn't need to attract the attention of a mod. and unlike this server, there are no paddings about mods abusing power. things are usually dealt with couple of bans. not saying this is the right way to do it as well as not saying there is another way to deal with such a crowded area :/ |

there is no censorship. on the contrary actually. just too much flood :} this server was much more censured when there were mods (read: when they haven't got a clue how to moderate forum). in the beginning i had more than 15 bans for obvious jokes. on .ru i have no bans.
once again, i strongly suggest not to "occupy" "Off-game forum" or any other, if you want to be able to make posts there. |
We have grown to 35 members and several more are joining as soon as they hit level 5.
Language is not a big problem as long as you know the game - the only area it matters is combat - but that's the problem we are actually trying to solve with our problem - by playing with english speaking players.
Though I have to say that Russians are very helpful also in many occasions :-) |
