Just transfer characters to .ru
Moving to .ru would not help most users. Even if they implemented a dual language so you could view most screen/arts in English or Russian you would still have the problems that the forums will be almost exclusively in Russian, that battle chat, other players profiles (services offered etc) & mails will be in Russian.
While translation software can help with this it at best just gives an indication of what is being said and at worst comes up with incorrect translations which will leave many players taking the wrong meanings of what they have read.
Starting a new character on .ru is an even worse option as you get all the problems above as well as losing the many hours of work and real-life cash spent building to where you are now.
The server is dead
The server is just as alive as it has been for the past year! It is stable and the majority of players are still active so no real changes at all.
It is the admins who are gone.
Donations
Like many others I have donated in the past but have not done so for over 6 months and will not donate again unless the admins give me a reason to
wait for the anniversary
This has no relevance to anything. Unless you are mistakingly taking a random comment by a low level player in another thread which said the server will be closed then. This RUMOUR has been copied by others like #49 - filowarrior (above) and seems to have taken a life of its own but has no basis in fact. |
