demon? or necro?
assuming they have high (about 8) faction skill level.
if you answer one of them, please explain why.

| Demon because they have faster units and more aoe (area of effect) attacks. At higher levels there are just too many targets to hit. I'm also assuming you will be doing TG despite your views on TGI. Higher levels tend to do more pvp and TG because the other types of combats have become too difficult. |
hard decision.
demon gets cerbs... very strong.
necro gets flying vampires and also a huge stack of skeletons. very strong.
bear in mind that in the early period of changing to demon your low FS level will severely reduce your gating .
This is a big problem for those switching to necro as they will not have many skeletons available in battle. Being a necro already ofc this is not a problem for mega0
having more than 1 faction going is expensive but good for character development. |
I played necro upto faction:8 and also started developing Demon (currently Demon: 4 (195.16) +84.8).
Necro becomes a lot more powerful v's other factions at level 10/11 (8 & 9 were not great levels for a necro).
They are both very good at these levels though for different kinds of battles. I would recommend that you remain necro until you get to at least faction 7 and start saving gold for the castle upgrades needed for demon (which are very expensive, I think I spent around 400k+ to switch and did not bother getting incendaries but built everything else). If you are planning to do both characters then I would recommend you start passing by all conspiracy quests and slow creature hunts (zombies, golems, etc) for when you become demon as they are very easy for it with min arts and a good source of quick fsp to develop demon faster. |

to determine the exact gold and resources you would need. You can also adjust your total bill by selecting the buildings you want.
As the above posts mentioned if you change to demon, you should save up a lot of gold and build up demon faction levels on easy hunts/mercs. |
