AuthorPosting signatures on threads...
A lot of folks have been caught multi-cheating and password sharing simply over their sig tags--ie signing with wrong name as someone mentioned in the thread.

Everyone should sign with something. More formal, and it would certainly catch some folks slipping in "questionable" circumstances.

Dear Players,

I have received your recent replies to this both serious and troubling situation. I'm quite disturbed to think that this may actually ignite a "signing frenzy" from new players simply to further the cause of catching multi-cheating Players. Would one really start signing their name simply to get caught? Perplexing to say the least.

Skunder

P.S. To post 18, was there really any hint that this was not a serious and viable subject to bring forth and discuss in an intelligent manner? I should say it is the most troubling thing within LWM presently - minus the further ridiculousness happening over there in the 'Polygon' thread.
To Skunder:

This really didn't seem like a 'serious discussion' thread to me
Sorry mate, my bad :P
Gaming Collegues,

I am shocked to discover the support for this absurd invention, it is preposterous and should be avoided at all costs. The economic cost alone is beyond comprehension. Has no one seriously seen the ill effects that this base and contrived suggestion would generate. Think of all those extra keys pressed, wearing outkeyboards and forcing replacement far earlier than their life would need to be. And what about all that time wasted. You add the wasted time of all the people typing out the extra bit of formal wording, well you could build a whole new game if you combined their efforts. And don't get me started on the impact on the grammar of society today. Do you seriously expect people getting used to writing this way will be able to communicate properly, how will they know how to write efficient text messages. This is absurd and must stop at all costs.
