1. My friend has beed hacked.
2. Hacker keep changing his e-mail.
3. My friend is going out for few days (If he won't change his e-mail he will loose account becouse hacer will do it)
4. If he would gave me his password i could change it for him for few days (but we will break a rule of not giving password to anyone)
Question.
What should we do?
Break a rule or let hacker take his account. |
Best to not get involved. If you log into account too then you could get this and/or your accounts blocked too for password sharing.
It is unlikely your "friend" got hacked. it is much more likely he gave his password to a scammer in an attempt to do something illegal or get something for free. He needs to learn from this. |

Ok, it was scamming. Not everyone knows english as good as to understand all rules like diamonds can't be traded.
He needs to learn from this
Now he knows that he should't do that when he lost more than 200k. However i think that losing account in which he invested many online houres is a little too tough lesson. |
I am not trying to be harsh but there is nothing anyone here can do to help him. His only option is to write to secretary (which rarely if ever helps unfortunately).
Our real problem is that admins are not here to do anything about these scammers.
The rest of us do what we can to draw attention to them in the forums but if people give someone else their password no matter what they are promised it is likely they will lose everything. |

Actually this is the perfect lesson for him. If he had given away his bank account pin number, social security number, or keys to his house/car, then he would have lost a lot more.
He needs to change his account and email passwords as soon as he can, report the scammer, and then remember his lesson. |

there are no victims in such a situation: only two people, both trying to break rules - and one being more stupid than the othe. |

We all know that it wasn't the smartest thing.
Calling somoeone stupid on public isn't the wisest move.

well latawica it is useless to help your friend no one can do anything about it i know how it feels to be hacked but dont involve yourself or else you to will get hacked well it will be lot of wastage of time for him but look at me i had my lvl 8 id hacked by lightas but now i am lvl 7 my main id was dhruvrg but now it is dhruvr
remember people learn from their mistakes if you think we are wrong so you can help him but it might be dangerous for you |

I was not going to do anything after read post #2. I will not involve when someone else will do it instead of me (#7).
I understand that maybe helping someone is pointless, but why shoul'd we leave account to scammer. He will use it to make other breaking rules affairs. Then other "stupid" people will lose their account just because they are "stupid"...And some day i will lose ambushes with full arts scamer (there are some even on level 10,11...) becaouse he can afford to buy all he wants. Why should i be harmed? I didn't do anything breaking rules.
We can make this problem smaller by not giving that particular account to someone scamming. |
| I was mearly sated it is stupidedty on the scamers part and the scamed!! was not calling anyone stupid just was saying that scaming and falling for the scam is stupid!! |
The scammers gains are only temporary. Admins will eventually return, maybe in 1 week, maybe 1 month, maybe more but when they do the scammers will lose all their accounts and anything they have gained and/or transferred.
They will be the real losers from their scams and all the rest of us can do is try and keep our accounts safe and secure until this happens. |
