Wow...this is what -Anansi- pm me;
i used to be a magic DE in levels 5-6.. magic DE tend to shine on GB than on duels.. the thing is you need to learn to prioritize targets.. me and my friend follow a simple rule - "cut off your opponent's legs," meaning, prioritize targets that can "reach" us, i.e. ranged attackers, high-speed units.. plus abuse the lizard charge.. since you'll be sacrificing attack for spell power, this is a must.. another thing.. i checked your combat log and it seems you're fighting mostly against high levels.. magic DE won't work against higher level opponents as your spells can only take a few of their units.. as a magic-user, i believe that spellpower is better than knowledge, so i mostly rely on "damage bursts" using elemental call plus high spell power.. it seems that you're using chaos magic.. that is good too, but IMO, if you're using chaos magic as talent, it would be better to have 20 mana than 30 mana as 30 is too much.. enemies tend to focusfire on magic users more so you have to fire away as much magic arrows as possible and use up all your mana so it won't be wasted if you'll die easily.. i believe in malz's strat (GB-wise), especially in level 5 as elves have no access to magic resistance yet.. to finalize, just remember these things as a magic DE: (1) fight only against opponents at your level and only in GB.. (2) think of doing the highest possible damage that you can deliver in a turn as your team role is to be the "strategic bomber." try to maximize spellpower if possible.. try to experiment with different talents.. (3) learn to prioritize targets, i.e. target only important stacks like ranged and always think of maximizing your spells (target those with lowest hitpoints, luckily ranged units usually have low hitpoints).. (4) communicate with your team mate as this is important.. actually, i only team with those i personally know so that we can use yahoo messenger or skype for communication.. (5) always go full arts for spell power.. (6) master the lizard charge.. i hope this'll help.. goodluck to you mate and good day to you.. i think i have a few battles that you can watch.. perhaps they can give you some ideas.. and watch battles where you lost too so that you can see your mistakes.. again, a pleasant day to you and best of luck.. |

@MasterTI: that was just an opinion sir as those things worked for me on levels 5-6, though i'm not sure if they would be applicable to other players.. i just thought of sharing them.. i'd really be happy if you'll make a guide so i can learn more about caster DE.. other players would surely appreciate that too.. thanks in advance sir.. |

@stupidkid: i've read somewhere in the forum before about how to beat elf in a duel with magic DE at lvl5. basicly u have to kill the druid box using your earth spike. its only possible if you have high SP and use full arts (to get that high SP). the talent used was either elemental call or basic chaos magic, i dont really remember ;p just count the amount of damage that u need to kill those druids and mix it with ur setup. sorry i cant really help here. |

btw: who cares about guide from you, the only thing that you doing in this game are hunts becouse of lack of life :).You were a cheater who was not blocked for staged battles wich is strange, look at your tournament scores and compare it with Vidlak666 or whatever player in top100 and answer yourself does somebody wants to read ur guide :) Better write a guide ,,how to cheat,, , or ,,how to feed cats ,, no lifer thats a truth :) |
