AuthorHP 30 min or mana 15 min !?
Well , someone can name this as freebie , but i name this "balance between mages and warriors".

Even if im brainless barb , i'd like to discuss such topic. How about of making HP restoring 30 min or mana 15 min? How about to equal between mages and warriors?

Im not talking only about mages , that use Chaos magic , but it is also conserning as Light mages , so Dark.

Please post messages only conserning this topic !

How is it going to balance the game ? Now mana and hp restoration are 15 mins , what help will increasing hp time give ?
But why mages must wait +15 min to have their mana refilled?
It seems like when I use mana, I come back with some of it already regenerated.

For example, I go into a hunt with full mana (30/30), and dish out 4 magic punches, leaving me with 10/30 mana. But then , right when I go back to my character page, I am already up at around 20 mana. I was wondering why this happens

Hunters should take to consideration, that three quarters of mana used in hunt will be immediately restored after finishing it.

Lets discuss such situation : ( EXAMPLE )

In group battle : 1 side is 2 warriors and 1 lightmage... They won and want more , but want it FAST , but they cannot because mage must wait + 15 min !!! I think , that this game is played by big guys and they have to work... So , my opinion , that these 15 min are pplaying BIG role.

i'm used the wizard on .ru server for a while and it's really hard regen all the mana all times :P

I remember such times :) 1 mana per 5 minutes , but i talk not about past , but what about happens now.
Use mana tubes. So is the price of using mana.
Witch is incredible stupid for a game were Might AND Magic were his parents.
Another reason to go just for Might and lower the variance of builds.
The longer mana restoration...really makes no sense. To me, anyway. Mana + hp restore should be equal. Why give melee classes quicker "offensive" recovery than magic users?

But consider, with Mana Tubes, you *can* restore your mana *immediately*, even if it does cost money.

With health you have no such option. *Only* time can relieve a depleted health supply.

it is just to balance the fight rate on might and magic faction. take wiz as example, they deal fancy dmg which ignore def and dmg bonus in non-pvp fight.

remember, non-pvp is your major exp source before you achieve certain level. after a non-pvp fight, any used mana will restore 3/4 of it. so, the little mana restore time to balance out wiz wont grab exp too fast :)

And you think hindering Wizards and only thís faction is good thing? Kind of wierd Gameview.
Regenerate Mana at half rate compared to Health BUT get back 3/4 of Mana after an encounter with neutrals BUT not in other types of battle AND can pay to increase mana faster thanks to a mana tube...???

Never made any sense to me as well.
Really complicated for not many in-game results (except causing concern among magic users that they have it harder)
Hmm..

Mana users are sometimes very powerful in hunt and tournaments. They can win most of the very tough creatures like renegade monsters in hunt. So they can earn more gold which can be used to buy mana tubes. It is called LWM. The another part you have to deal with in this game is money too. If you are a smart wizard, the slow mana regen is nothing to you because you are able to use your faction unique abilities to earn you more gold in hunts which you can use to make up for some of your losses. I have a friend very good in that and he is a wizard too.
