You not understand this picture.
Factory have room for 180 pieces.
But why they collected 193 pieces?
They stop collecting items when they are full (180 pcs).
Now they have 193 wood (180 max), 299 (288 max) mercury, 303 (288 max) etc.
And this is more than needed to produce one piece. |

| While it's true that all factories stop collecting or buying resources when they reach max, they do accept resources whenever a player buys their stock. Many factories require gold and resources as payment. The gold and resources received are added even if the factory resouces have already reached maximum. |
| Thanks to this behaviour of the factories, it is possible for gold to become 'locked up' as resources in the factory. As a result, the factory has neither gold to produce more artifacts, nor artifacts to sell, and so is stuck. This has happened for cape of spirits and ring of abdication i think. |

ring of abdication sells at a loss but cape of spirits does not:
cost = 6 hours at 205 + 1 magic powder at 2084 + 2 leather at 186 = 1686 and 1 sulphur
price = 1730 and 1 sulphur. i.e. profit. |

You are right! It is fixed. Used to be 3,350 gold, 1 sulphur. So now the factory won't have the problem you described.
