i saw d market 2 months ago n then thief amulets price was 60k but now it is 125k.
y has there been so much inflation?
can a person who buys dis at such high rate be blocked 4 financial assisting because the person deprives himself of money n gives the other a lot f commission (double the actual price)? |
What actual price are you talking about??
Its effect of the changes in thieves guild mechanism.(invitations)
Not much new thieves, not much new artifacts, low level thieves practically dont exist. |
It's not a matter of inflation. It's a result of HIGH demand and LOW offer. |
but wats d point when no one even buys it.
d price is so so high dat one who was thinkin 2 buy it, just says a no
d apparent situation is like "thief amulet is rusting out than wearing out" |
Think positively!
New thieves those have to save very long for TGI, get much better prices from their Thief Equipment :D |
how will they gt better prices when no one is ready 2 buy expensive thief arts?
profits go into bin when there is no one 2 purchase |
They will be purchased. They wouldn't be on the market for such a high price if someone didn't think they'd get it or at least a private trade offer close to it. |
its not really inflation... the prices are coming back to normal a long time ago the prices were the same as today's so called inflation... so in reality you may call it inflation its just re-balancing of the economy |
thief amu would sell in half an hour if priced at 100k |

Seriously? I wouldn't buy it for even 60K. That would explain why I've never bought one. A Warrior Pendant seems vastly superior to me, and costs a lot less. |

So you think that a thing that don't exist on this server is much better than something that don't exist here?
Call me stupid, but I would always use the thing that I can use instead of things that I just can imagen. |

dont think so. it will take a lot time 2 sell even at 50k-60k(reasonable price)

Totally agree. It takes a lot of time and expense to get thief arts :s |

if there wud hv been desperate people ready 2 pay more than 60k then someone3 wouldnt have been postin dat thrice 4 d price he offers in market
lol |
17 but point is if u have to wait for next thief art 6 months or so why would i want to sell it in a day? Unless i desperately need money i wouldnt lower the price for atleast a month. :) |

Simple theory: Demand and supply.
When supply for specific thief arts are low due to less thieves reaching a certain TG level (this being caused by not many new thieves due to TGI changes), then the demand for the art will increase.
In most market mechanisms, an increase in demand will have an increase in price. If there was no demand, the price will not be so high up.
If, per say, there is less demand it, then the price will decrease at its mechanized rate.
This is just the theory of market mechanisms, not to be taken into context unless ceteris paribus (all else is constant) is observed. |
