36-39 such a charming lad...

TG arts won't go down, instead they will establish the place in market as 'rarity'. What's good is that TG set is weak on the hi-levels 13+ and the number of people who are eager to pay the mad price is very limited (most of hi's won't buy it) as well as the number of the thieves providing it.
@34
You sound like you know everything there is to know about the law of supply and demand.

I will not ask you to share what you know though, as I am fairly certain that this forum space here, and possible subsequent discussions arising from it will not be sufficient to impart full knowledge. Therefore I do not wish to put you in a difficult position of imparting only half-knowledge as Sometimes, half-knowledge is worse than no knowledge.

@31
It is quite impossible to estimate when it would. From the looks of things, it is highly unlikely the price will drop unless there is admin intervention.
If it's so expensive try to get them by yourself,it doesn't cost that much(arts,TGI), huh? ;P
I think the price for this rare items won't go so high because they are not so powerful and not many people will buy them for outrageous prices ... so, they will reach a point when noone will buy them, and if you have one you want to sell, you'll be forced to do that for a reasonable price ... and definetely, the higher your level, the less useful they are compared to other cheaper arts.

just my 2 cents ... probably totally wrong ;)
for OndaNera:
You are correct, but let's say thief amulet reached 200k, which you would deem as outrageous price . Players stop buying. Then if a seller lowered it to 180k, which is 10% off, and buyers start buying again, would you consider 180k as a reasonable price ?
huh u think 180k as a reasonable price. if i were u i wud rather say 60k
huh u think 180k as a reasonable price. if i were u i wud rather say 60k

Great. I'll buy three of those.
for nayyart:
I was only using OndaNera's reasoning from his post44. He was saying that prices would reach a point where no one would buy and then the sellers need to come down from that price for buyers to start buying again.

In my example the numbers were for example purposes. I was trying to say that "reasonable prices" would only be just slightly (or only somewhat) lower than the "outrageous price".

i wud rather say 60k
If it was a year ago, I would agree with you. But prices have been quite a bit higher for a long time. I'm with Arghmage; now I would buy 10 of those for that price and resell to all those who would pay 100k+.
so i think one shud rather save 4 a TGI than these arts?
dont u think so?
would you consider 180k as a reasonable price ?

nope ... I will buy one maybe for 80k at max ... maybe someone will be spending 120k or more ... but still the price won't continue to raise ad libitum .. because at a certain point people will consider to use instead a crisatl locket or a hnuter pendant
well, all that was relevant, was already said. I can only add that to prevent rising of the prices, stagnation of market and death of this game, we all must invite to it as many new players as possible.
