Authorbid problem
i had bid on a knulckeker by mistake i bid it for 20000
what to do now?

https://www.lordswm.com/auction.php?cat=weapon&sort=0&art_type=gm_kastet
you shouldn't have told everyone

now we could go bid 19000 and you'll have to pay 20k for it ;o
for moki-:
i didn't got u
think it's impossible to retract a bid.. but you will only pay 1 step higher than next highest bid, so, if this thread disappears you will probably only pay 3500 max
Actually you pay the gold amount you've bid, posts 2 and 4 are incorrect.

Anyway, you can't do anything but ask by pm from the seller the exceeding gold back.
kanss: you will pay only one step higher than next highest bid - meaning if someone bids 3000 you will pay about 3200 .. but since we know you bid 20,000.. we could go and bid 19000 knowing that you will outbid us..

i won't do this, but someone might..friend of the auctioneer perhaps ;o
yup u dont go post such mistakes atleast not before auction is over :)
so u mean if a player bids 19000 i have to pay 19000+20000 and so on? till the bid ends
so u mean if a player bids 19000 i have to pay 19000+20000 and so on? till the bid end
No, 20k is your max.
for kanss:
u won't pay that much gold if no one knows .
but now many guys know so u hv to pay that much :)
so next time let none to know your bids
To marked_one does what Moki- sead is true? If I bid 10 times higher than current bid and auction ends then I will pay only 1 step higher?
Let me explain what everyone means.
Ordinary auction. It is an auction where the creator places a lot to sell an item. The character with the highest bid at the moment when the auction expires is considered the winner of the lot. The buyer can take part in auctions, increasing bids gradually or setting his or her highest bid right away. In the latter case, the program will effectuate gradual bids instead of the buyer, even if he or she goes offline, but won't bid higher than the preset maximal bid.
So basically, the system believes that kanss's bid is his highest bid - the highest price he is willing to pay. Therefore, the system will set gradual bids, until it reaches the highest price, then it will stop. Therefore, what everyone else means is that they could just bid that 19000, then yourr bid would automatically increase to about 19100, which means that you would have to pay that amount (it will effect gradual bids, not the total bid immediately). Therefore, you should not have posted this, that way no one would know and you would have paid about 3500, but since you did, someone might do so and you might pay A LOT more.
@Moki-: Glad you didn't :). For all we know, kanss may be lying and has only bidded 18999. Then you bid 19000...so... :D
11 yes if some1 does not overbid
12 thats true but even if the auction maker sells it just for 5k he already gets more then rest of knuckleduster sellers :D
ouch

20-07-10 08:48: kanss bids 19695
20-07-10 12:31: Arghmage bids 19500
20-07-10 12:25: sa321 bids 3876
20-07-10 10:19: Arghmage bids 3800
20-07-10 09:06: kanss bids 3025
Why would anyone do that on purpose so he has to pay more ... >.> ?

Now we all know who Arghmage truly is
actually my real bid was 25777
but i can do one thing ask the seller to return the excess money
is it possible?
ouch...man...i feel bad for you.
it is possible to ask him about the excess money, yes.

Now we all know who Arghmage truly is
actually my real bid was 25777
and now Arghmage can make your bid go even higher.....don't reveal your bids on forums from now on? lol

I hope the seller will give you back the excess money :)
sorry for double post, didn't realise bidding had ended ;p
