3.13. Additional characters are not allowed to make presents to anyone, or pay/receive clan taxes/entrance fees.
The rule doesn't say that additional characters can't be in clans. It just says that additional characters can't make any donations/payments to the clan. But is it alright for an additional character to be in a clan? Yes, but the additional character can't pay any fees, taxes, donations, etc.

Yes, but you can only switch mains once and the profiles of involved characters must note the date of the change.
You should also follow all the other rules regarding additional characters.
