@19 Though you have last, the battel looked much better to me than your last. And I have to add that nec is best (in any lvl) with maximum arts, simply, because you move last and therefore you need the additional def. Also the barb again got lucky with orcs on first hit, this is not the common outcome with only 1 luck (3 stacks, 1 luck = 0,9^3 = 73% no luck on any of those attacks)

As I said before I can't tell you if nec is better at 12 than at 11 because I havent't done many gbs at nec on lvl 12 (raising my knight skill), on lvl 11 he is very good.

@20 If you can't win as nec, don't blame the faction, change your tactics. And please order your words before you start writing them down, you are hard to understand.

Yes the hit/miss-counter is pure chance, but if you claim to have 3 consecutive hits on your ghost, prove it with battlelink. Otherwise I hold to my experience, that this is not possible.

If two friendly stacks die on the same tile, is there a way to determine which will be raised when you use the Raise Dead spell? I would rather not accidentally raise 1 zombie instead of my 18 ghosts again. Didn't... really help much.
You will raise the type of monster with the most hp per unit, so in your case the zombie, but if you raised the zombie multilpe times its hp will decrease, once it has less than your ghosts, you will raise ghost instead. (after around 4 raises)

i have my own ideas but would like to hear form others.
3 statpoints in erudition
on lvl 12 I liked to play with Vitality+Dominion of pain+Basic erudition.

You will need 30-40 mana, 0 Spell power and all the rest to the Attack.

Mass Disruption ray is evil :)
well, dalek i was thinking of that for group battles. but for duels ill get advanced darknes magic and maybe 2 spell power so that i can cast a critical weakness or confusion on anchorites or guardians just before their turn comes.... but fro group battles mass disrupt is good. but if i want to get advanced drakness, why not get avoidance? and extra 10% melee defense? i see many good necros getting all defense talents
for mega0impact:
it depends on your game style (if you like to play from defence, you would probably choose avoidance and extra 10% melee defence; if you prefer to go for attack, the mass disruption might be better), but anyway, lots of things depend on the battle type and enemies factions.
if you know you'll face an elf, avoidance and strong confusion is good. but quite pointless, if the opponent is DE.

I chose mass disruption for a small tournament (duels) as a universal build. not perfect, i know, but quite good. and i won over all necros i met (6 or 8 during two tournaments). you just wait a bit until the defence is broken enough, and then attack. even those who had avoidance +10% melee def can't do anything against you with 16-20 def points less on their critical stacks :)
hmm. i see. well, against DE i could use a weaken on the lizard calvary, which is pretty good! i see your point. problem is that in duel, your opponent can setup in such a way (since they know your talents before the game begins) so as to avoid mass disruption.......
for mega0impact:
in a usual duel - yes. in a tournament - no. but there is no tournaments, so my comment is quite useless, and you should plan your tactics and talents based on known (more or less) opponents.

best talents at lvl 12 for GBs is:

Basic defence + vitality, basic darkness, dominion of mind, erudition (used for 3 sp). I have 5 kn and the rest on attack.

For hunts:
Basic defence + vitality, basic nature,spirit link and erudition (1 kn 2, att).
There is no use in hunts for basic defense and vitality at least as far as I can see. better take expert erudition for 6 statpoints + basic nature and intellect. With 3 knowledge you will have 45 mana enough for 2 phantoms and you can put the rest into attack.
