A few correction
darkness talent or basic light talent spell will just increase the durability of your spell
no, it isn't
basic light or basic darkness affect the efficient of the spell not duration.
just get basic chaos magic
knight doesn't have basic chaos magic talent
As forrohanrocks,
neither lvl 1 nor lvl 2 magic guild require talent.

#5 My mistake and yes you are right about durability (i was thinking efficiency and writting durability)
#1 take a look https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=31 and you will understand more how work spell with talent and spell power.
Keep in my Talent will increase efficiency but you will need some Spell power for a higher durability than 0.5 |

We don't need a talent to learn spells from mage-guild level 1, nor from level 2.
So go ahead and build that mage-guild. The spells will be there. Put a point in knowledge though, so you can cast some spells. |
