I'm not aware of any rules that prevent this.
It would be best to avoid holding items for anyone with the same IP as you.
With no rule specifically against this venture, I would hope that you be warned if the Admins decided to make a new rule preventing it.

Weren't you the one who offered this service in the Trade forums for like the past 1-2 months? If it was illegal (not saying it is or not), wouldn't you be told about it, or at least had your thread deleted/closed?
I personally think it's an innovative way to earn some gold.. as long as it doesn't break any General Rules (like transfers between multis etc), and Forums Rule when/if advertising it. |

From what I can understand, that rule don't definitively defines what the TS is asking.

I guess only Arctic or an admin can answer this one. Or if there's an precedence from .ru since the rules may be pretty similar between the 2 servers. |

It's obviously not granting a loan with interest.
Nor is it receiving money from other players on deposit accounts (if it was, liongo would be paying someone else for the "privilege" of holding their item for them).
It's not anything to do with insurance.
IMO, it's not a Pawn Shop Business. That would be paying someone else a discounted rate for an item, then holding it (with the possibility of selling it) and asking more for it on return of that item. It is in *some* ways resembles this venture, but since the person sending the item could send it as a "rental" for 0 battles, x days and 0 cost, they could guarantee the item could not be onsold.
Perhaps you should ask a representative of Admin? I imagine many people will have different opinions on this subject.
Personally, I can;t imagine spending money on having someone holding an item for me. I'd rather sell something instead.
