Author | bless, rounded up or down? |
lets say unit A has 1~10 damage
with advanced bless it will become:
(1+(10-1)*0,65)~10
6,85~10
6~10 or 7~10 ?
or will it stay 6.85~10 but it is shown as 7~10 ?
(so the roll can still be a 6.9) |

My X-Bows has damage range 2-8. After my Clerics blessed it, it became 7-8. You do the Maths. :p |
#2 that's not exactly what he means so there is no real need to be so patronising. |
I remember Arctic said once when it was about enchants that the damage goes with decimals. Not sure. |
or will it stay 6.85~10 but it is shown as 7~10 ?
i'm pretty sure that's so |

My reply My X-Bows has damage range 2-8. After my Clerics blessed it, it became 7-8 was in response to the TS Q - 6~10 or 7~10 ?
so there is no real need to be so patronising.
Born that way, can't be helped. You have a nice day too. |
You do the Maths.
2 + ((8 - 2) * 0,80) = 6,8
At least we now know it is not rounded down to 6 :P
Only question remains, is it 6.8~8 or 7~8 |

i'm pretty sure it's whole numbers since most attack damages can be worked out afterwards involving whole numbers (not decimals) |
Easily checked. Find something that does 1-2 damage (no talents, just the 50% at first. 65% later if needed for checking), and bless it. Have it attack something repeatedly and see if it ever does 1 damage.
My guess, because I don't know, is that it rounds up to a whole number. |
Even if you would bless 1 faerie without any holy talents, then it would become 1.5~2
meaning 1 fearie will always deal 2 damage.
then another question rises;
if your creature would deal 1.5 damage, does it 1 damage or 2 damage? |
Damage is in decimals, but is displayed in integer.
6.8~8 may be the actual damage value. |
