we can pool in our money and keep seven lvl 14 leaders [ one for each faction ] who can buy the best items.
then we can gather the best enchanters and enchant those items. Each one of them can go against the councilor.

Your thoughts are noble, but in reality things are a little different my friend:
1. Noble Councilor Feurlis can chose to fight who and when he wants. He may simply refuse to fight those 7 leaders with great enchants.
2. Once noble Councilor Feurlis decides to fight against lords of lower levels, we can team up and have a good chance to win. Here I believe that 2 magic DE and a magic demon can be a great combination.
3. There are already great lords (like Maia), who are ready to face noble Councilor Feurlis. | For Barbarian-Fishy:

I think you can credit the malicious gossip spoken by Lords who should know better, talking about our glorious empress potentially not being of sound mind, which then, by a process of chinese whispers, became part of the message, when it was not true.
You are wrong: check post 153 of this very thread. The Empress presented Herself in that manner.
I do believe (and it should be obvious to all by now) that the Empress is not in Her right mind, and that Lord Arctic was imprisioned under a minor infringement with a disproportionate sentence (without trial) because he is the main threat against those who control the Empresses mind. So breaking Arctic out of jail is the righteous way to fight the traitors and begin the path to restore our Empresses health.
Again: FOR ARCTIC, FOR THE EMPRESS!
We might be Rebels, but not mindless anarchists. We too wish to see the order in the Empire reinstated - but we will not fight for order itself, regardless of who is ruling (seems to make no difference to you anti-Rebels who rules, be it the Empress or Feurlis through her, what matters is that someone rules). We fight for the natural order of our true Sovereign, the Empress, malady-ridden and in absolute control. I have no doubt that when this is accomplished, She will bestow on Lord Arctic the highest honours.
