I'm not sure but I guess dwarves might get a heroic entry and it can be something like.
demons overpowering(portal event)
grand entry of dwarves and all goes well with dwarves in.

There are no specific terms or dates these features. They all are on the Administration's to-do list, and addressed at different times according to priorities.
Current greatest priorities of the Administration is improving the AI in what concerns PVE, and creating the mechanism for Military Clan wars in PVP.
Also, balancing the factions on higher level, which continues every day, but is extremely hard. The dwarves are in what you can call open-beta-test mode on .ru, they are balanced only to fit the current version of balance which is imperfect. They will appear here only after a more worked-out version of the faction appears over there. |

The "dark ages" refer to the period of silence. No admin, no updates, nothing. It lasted for quite a looong time. |
