Weathering the increasing heat, squalls of fireballs and smoke clouds and withstanding hardly resistible homesickness and nostalgia for the beautiful landscapes of the Empire, the Lords and Ladies were proceeding to the Pandemonium capital, encircling it from the two sides of the Breaches, destroying the six hundred and sixty six leaders and all their Infernal henchmen. The combats soon invaded the Capital, and the Lords were able to witness an entire small city with the Architecture of those Demon castles they had a chance to build during the Demon Festival.
With the new aura presented by the mysterious ally, the Pandemonium leaders became doomed and it was only a matter of time until the forces of the Empire laid siege to the last leader stationed in a massive pyramid-shaped building, defending it atilt with all its wrath. The building was rather small, able to provide hideout for only a relatively small army of Infernals. Strangely enough, the much greater and more pompous wide palace-looking construction nearby was left abandoned.
Soon after, the last of the Pandemonium leaders fell to the brave vanguard of the Empire forces. Councilors Bilir, Kh'Everst and, of course, Arabat himself reached the entrance to the pyramid.
Councilor Arabat Flamesoul the Fourth explained this strange behaviour:
"This place is sacred to the Infernals if you can say so. Grmpf! It is the memorial to the forefather of the tribe, demon Pan. His remains rest here, along with relics that are believed to have belonged to him and his followers."
"Do you remember this place from the time you were young?" - councilor Bilir inquired.
Arabat did not answer. He stood perplexed, staring at the entrance into the Memorial. He was rumpling his orange epaulet thrown over his right shoulder, looking somewhere far beyond the Pandemonium world...
With unconcealed pain, he turned back to his companions and spoke briefly: "Councilors.. Before the Lords enter and... claim their reward, may I, you know, have a few minutes..."
Kh'Everst nodded with comprehension, while Bilir, switching his look from one to another, stood in wide-eyed astonishment. When Arabat moved towards the entrance, Bilir made an impetus to follow him. Kh'Everst stretched his hand out, blocked the Wizard's way and waved his head in silence.
"But, uh, do you know what's inside?? Those relics he spoke about?"
"Dear councilor!" Kh'Everst smiled widely and sincerely. "Councilor Arabat has proven his allegiance to Her Majesty in all possible ways. Without him, this victory would have been questionable to say the least. His childhood passed here, he was possibly coming to this memorial to worship this forefather of theirs when he was little. It is a part of him, no matter how he tries to tear it off and throw away. There are things, no matter how deep buried in your heart, that sometimes reveal themselves when you don't even expect it. The best thing to do now is to leave him to himself..."
The Lordship was granted one more day to leave the Pandemonium and return to the safe lands of the Empire before Bilir and his academics started their work to seal the two Breaches between their world and the inferno. At that time, the Great Capital was already
Her Majesty the Empress appeared on the Central Square in person to render honour and gratitude to the victors:
" Subjects! All the Pandemonium leaders have been destroyed! The Empire is safe again thanks to your selfless contribution and steadfast cooperation on the two fronts!
The Empire has claimed a lot of Infernal weaponry specimens as war trophies. Each one of you who has achieved at least ten vanguard victories in course of the campaign, will earn one weapon of type matching their status and of durability proportional to their success.
The names of fifty most valiant of you will be engraved on a memorial plate dedicated to this campaign. The Military clans will also earn a special commemoration, top five of them also being honoured with a reward from the Imperial treasury.

The two most horrifying Infernal demons, Sopel and Uhrsok were slain by the League of Shadows and the Dark Alliance Military clans respectively.
The Memorial of Pan the infernal forefather contained several sets of relics whose power is unmatched by any Imperial artifacts. They will be offered at the Imperial auction, available to all Lords. Please note their special properties when they are worn as a set.
Rejoice, Lordship! The campaign is over, you deserved your rest. My gratitude to all of you is beyond my means of expression. Cheers to Victory!"
The Hero of this campaign, the mysterious master of the Darkness magic who has greatly inclined the balance of victory to Empire's side, has not revealed himself. Several impostors tried to claim his merit for themselves, but after being briefly interviewed by Councilman Kh'Everst were dismissed with shame. Despite the vows of the Herald and promised honorary position in the Court and great gifts, he chose not to make himself known at that time...
The remains of the Infernals that have infiltrated our world during the Portal guard stage will be cleared with the help of Hunters' and Mercenaries' guilds.
