Hiya all,
A friend's friend just experienced this and since they don't speak English very well, thought I would help and ask in the forums on their behalf.
Bear in mind that this player can't read English very well.
He tried to create a clan, The Arcadian Knights. After he has fill up the clan application, he saw that 60k has been deducted from him. But he didn't see the clan in his character page. So what he did was.. to repeat the whole process again(!). nas d another 60k gold was deducted from him. He did it for a total fo 3 times, and had 180k gold deducted from him.
His page looked something like this -->
This service is only offered to players of combat level 5 or higher.
Application cost is 60000 gold.
The final registration of your clan will take additional 40000 gold.
Please note that the clan's name should correspond to the game's theme (be related to the fantasy world).
Applications that violate this rule can be declined.

Why does the system allows an application with the same clan name from the same player to go through?
Anyone had experience on this? Will the player get a refund from his 2 flawed applications?
Since Arctic is on vacation, don't really know what to reply to this player..
Thanks in advance for any inputs. | | Unfortunally clan names are not copyrighted, which means that I could make a clan today called Angels & Demons and only the admins could stop me from doing it, (if they wanted to). He might try PMing the Secretary and explaining the situation and it might be taken care of, or he may end up with 3 clans with the same name, but with different clan numbers. | I have a friend who made a similar mistake. He entered the name wrong the first time, (spelling mistakes), and deciding he wanted to fix it, went and re-applied. So he now had two applications waiting. When Arctic saw that he had two, one correctly the other incorrectly, rather than offering him a refund Arctic said that should he wish to register another clan he would change the name for him.
Unfortunately, since Arctic is not around, I too would suggest writing to secretary :) |
