| Why is it that sprite magic(wasp swarm) never works in pushing back the enemy to any scale? |

Wasp swarm 5 (Level 2)
Summons a throng of insects that deal minor Nature damage to a selected stack.
It also knocks the target back on the ATB scale. The damage is Natural, so the spell does not affect Undead, Elemental and Mechanical creatures. |
thats cause it is only for your hero.
If sprites do was swarm it's not supposed to. |

The spell description is for the Hero's spells
The creature spells are listed in the Special Abilities section:

It states:
Sprites: Wasp swarm. 3 damage. Nature Magic school, nature damage (only affects living creatures). Costs 5 mana. |
for Takesister:
yes that's true but there is no push in scale on living creatures too |
for kanss:
The wasp swarm spell for sprites doesn't say anything about pushing creatures back on the scale. |
