Yes it is physical damage, even though it came by a range creature. The other type of attack is considered melee, that is when a creature attacks another creature directly. |

in the picture, u see the demon teleport very fast and very long distance ,
but 6speed & 10 init not that fast ,sometimes slow :) |

Indeed telekinesis can teleport opponent troops next to you (within 6 hex) and attack them with might.
