This is a noob question. ;)
Is there a minimum strength for caravans at a certain combat level OR does the strength continue to drop with each loss?
I ask this because I have dropped my AP for ambushes. I used to use the steel set/SOM/amulet(AP25?) but am now ambushing at AP13.

I've suspected there is a min strength and have compared combat logs from players who perpetually lose. But I haven't come up with any concrete substantial proof yet.
The reason why you may not have noticed a drop in difficulty is because you haven't lost enough. Caravan difficulty increase per win is much higher than caravan difficulty decrease per loss. |

After a loss, only that particular type of caravan slightly drops in strength.
Since, there are about 30 types of caravans, it make take a lot of losses before the winning percentage improves. |
| I'm not pretty sure since I never reached a certain point that lose didn't decrease the caravan strength. I might saw the strength decrease very tiny amount after a lose, but it still decreases. However, in your condition, I think 13 AP will be more than enough for demon to reach the minimum strength. Lots of players are using min ap and can get a pretty good win/lose ratio when reach the 'balance'. |
if lose and get 0.1fsp or 0.9fsp , decrease car strength is the same .

Not correct. Every time you lose the strengh will decrease a fixed ammount (i hink 10%) no matter what FPS you are getting. |

But I did actually just win 8 consecutive combats against a particular wizard caravan...

Because of tier 7 creatures in 1st caravan
BTW it is the hardest caravan. It has increased stats on defence and spell power |

The strength increases/decreases only for that particular caravan type. This one of the reasons why it's difficult to see the difference because you need to comb through many pages of logs to find the same type.
Also I believe 13 AP with okay faction lvl is more than enough for a smart player to start winning before reaching the supposed min difficulty. I believe the min difficulty is so low that most players can never reach it because they would have to pretty much lose on purpose. I didn't even reach it with nearly 2000 consecutive losses. |
