Ok, this was an weird situation I run into for the first time. I set up the ambush in GC. After a while, I looked at the 'map' screen: there's a hunt, but no action links. This is total normal during the ambush-waiting. Fine. But the typical 'thief guild' box was not there. Well, I run into the similar problem before--when I refresh the page, the fight would begin. So I refreshed the page--nothing happened. I was still on the map, not allowed to travel, not able to hunt. And more obvious, the MG quest I had right there indicated that I was in the middle of another challenge. So I went to my main page, my inventory page, etc. I could see all the pages fine. But ... I was supposed to be in the middle of a battle. Finally I logged out and logged back in. Sure enough, I got into the battle field directly.
Now my question is, how comes? Anyone else had the similar experience before? It is not a big deal but kind of puzzling and a bit annoying. |

| So this is something new? I have been worrying about those TG fights starting after 'refreshing the page'. If it were a player, I might just afked. But it seems it never happens when I catch a player. |
| It's not new. It's been happening to me for a very long time. Sometimes I'm stuck, can't cancel the ambush, and I basically have to wait until it fixes itself. Other times there is a combat, but the page doesn't auto refresh, so unless I manually refresh, I don't even know my ambush has caught anything. |
| Oh, well, this was my first time stuck there. In the past, refreshing the page worked all the time. Maybe I was just lucky not run into it earlier. |
| Had it once... Basically I'm still in "ambush setting", but the words went missing... So can't cancel ambush or do anything else... Refreshing doesn't help... Had to log out and log in again before the words are back... Guess it's a minor bug or something... |
| A similar thing is happening to me with tavern - ever since the refresh button changed places (on April Fools) sometimes the refresh button isn't there when I make a challenge. |
| same thing happen to me before, so now every time when I an in an ambush I will just switch to the GB page so that it refreshes automatically |
| Try going on your char and if you notice on the right upper corner in red "Character is in a match" click on it. |

| I have had this also, quite recently. I put on an ambush, go check some other sites in other tabs and no ambush loaded. So, 15 mins later I'm thinking about my ambush, thought I had timed out. I couldn't start a new one or do anything, but when I restarted the game or so I went in combat, missed the setup when I caught a player. Not funny :s |

with human player - from 1 min to 30 min
with caravan - from 5 min to 15 min
This is AVERAGE.
Sometime you will quit from ambush without any success. |

The problem is, There is no indication of a battle going on at the character page.

So this does happen when catching a player??!! Oh, that's bad news...I thought it only occur when fighting caravan.
