Authory do griffin not attack
when wolf raiders strike thrice its attacked twice so it mus retaliate thrice but it doesn't happen .. y?
Because griffins only retaliate once (like most other creatures).
The Griffin's ability of unlimited retaliation is only applicable against separate attacks, not multiple hits of the same attack.
Triple strike:

The creature performs three strikes at the target per move, being retaliated only after the first one.
y?
unlimited retaliation (griffin)
after every attack on it
it must retaliate
Repeating for blind:

Triple strike:

The creature performs three strikes at the target per move, BEING RETALIATED ONLY AFTER THE FIRST ONE.
y?

If you search a definite answer: Because admins want it like this. ;)

You could also ask, why there's wood and ore in the game or why we have a location called "East Bay".
a lvl 10 player asking this question?

Unlimited retaliation means griffins can retaliate for unlimited turns but only ONCE during one turn.

those three strikes from raiders were a part of ONE turn.

so they retaliate only once.that's what the meaning of unlimited retaliation.
Wolf riders or raiders is a single attack but a double of triple strike.
Attack and strike is not the same thing.
y?

Same reason why griffins can't retaliate against shrews even though they have 'unlimited retaliation' on their side :)
ya Same reason why griffins can't retaliate against shrews even though they have 'unlimited retaliation' on their side :)

my next Q.

this answer is right i guessUnlimited retaliation means griffins can retaliate for unlimited turns but only ONCE during one turn.

those three strikes from raiders were a part of ONE turn

a level 10 player saying this??
once during one turn???
the point is
its not my query
its the clash of all the properties creatures have
and i got no perfect answer
Some abilities directly contradict each other. Admins had to choose one ability to be the weaker of the two.

Like in Griffins vs. Shrews, "no retaliation" was given precedence over "unlimited retaliation".

And in the case of a triple strike, it would be unfair for the griffins to be able to retaliate each turn. Wolf Raiders (and shrews too, to an extent) have such high offensive capabilities because they are very weak defensively. Admins chose to nerf the Griffin's "unlimited retaliation" ability during those instances because it would put the other units at more of a disadvantage than yours.

Or at least, that's how I like to think about it. You may not like it, but admins made it like this to balance things out.
Would anyone like to explain Concentration talent to him :)
now that you've mentioned concentration, is it applicable to all units regardless of attack type (range/melee) or position (just moved/wait/defensive stance)? Or is it applicable only to melee units that are on defense position?
for niranjan2009:
Griffing's abillity means that every time someone makes a move, they can retaliate only once if attacked. One move=one retaliation, 2 moves= 2 retaliations, 3 moves= 3 retaliatons...etc...

wolfys can make 3 attack in 1 move so 3 attacks=1 move=1 retaliation, 6 attacks=2 moves= 2 retaliation... etc.

griffin's die in only one shot of wolf like nothing so not pretty unfair for barb
but ya unfair for delf if its applied for shrews.
srry for multi post..
