| I posted a message in the ordinary artifact section of the trade forum a while ago. For a bit I kept it bumped, but decided this was mostly pointless to try and keep it at teh top. I figured anyone wishing to buy the arts I had to sell would browse the first page. However, I wanted to keep it near to teh top ish to maximise the chance of them looking at mine first.
I just went back to it today an despite being no more than half way down it is considered obsolete and I can no longer bump it back to the top.

So my question is, what can I actually do now?

I cannot bump it, but if I was to create a message to advertise the same arts I break the local forum rules

Do I just have to wait till my thread eventually leaves the front page, and only then can I create a new thread?

| More than 2 topics of 1 char forbidden on the first page. You currently have one topic on the first page. So, you can create 1 more topic. |
| Yeah, lock the old thread and make another. |
| Yeah, lock the old thread and make another. |
| Thats what I thought at first glance, but then I would contravene this rule
3.1. It is forbidden to create threads that duplicate other threads, both locked and open, in the first page of the forum branch.

I could always make the thread slightly different, but that misses the point IMO

| It is unlikely you will be pnealised for such a miniscule violation of the rules. Our game needs to punish cheaters not penalise those who are innocent. (I know it's completely different but still) |
| Yeah, lock the old thread and make another. and ask mods delete that topic if you feel want to. |
| I don't frequent the trade forum much, so I don't know how much time it takes for a thread to be pushed back to another page... But it can't take that much time?
I don't encourage violations of forum-rules, since each ban is registered and your penalties will only keep growing.
