No, we don't need an ethics council do we? You could have had a clan set up with the heads of the MCs in it to discuss this in a round table and post a unified declaration but instead we have......this? Arctic was willing to set up that clan before he left too.
I hope the event lasts forever while I suck up all the fsp on the facility invasions.

I wouldn't call it lack of gamesmanship, but an action by (part of) the community to show admins, that we players don't appreciate any news on this server.
If you like this game and see how our gold and time is burned, you maybe have to say from time to time "Without us players your game would be only some program on some server".
I thought of a temporary boycott. If it changes much: I don't know. But it would be imho a good sign by the community.

For others: I know I don't have to participate and I use this option now. But I am leader and member of a clan and want to see it in a good ranking, so I am somehow forced to play at least some fights a day. |
But slowly my patience reaches it's end. If I am forced to spend weeks of hourly enrolling again... Well, you can add up 1 and 1. A game should be fun, not work. Yes, it should be demanding, but not frustating.

I consider it and I'm lucky that I've got my TGI before the changes. On .ru I don't even think of having a TGI, too much enrolling and just doing nothing. |

| I think this event is becoming a drag...not fun anymore...admins should do something to spice it up (if that means make it easier, then so be it!). Maybe an armstice might push them towards that? |

As for event: if there ain't saving facilities prob noone would play it on high levels...
I myself dislike it much not for item cost (enroll avg 12-14 times a day) but cause I feel useless...
I use 100% ench every fight and still haven't seen boss...
3.5 fsp is nice for me, but loosing over&over again....
Not to mention as Chuckie said, at saboteurs I go for 5.5-9 fsp per fight...
And it's much quicker...

Of course this boycott only works if all work together.
therefore, the boycott won't work at all, i'm affraid. i don't have an oppinion on the event itself, i don't know much, but i do know that players of levels 6-8 won't boycott the event, because they have no reason to do so. if high levels boycott it, low levels will finish it themselves eventually, right?
i suggest that you play it if you like these battles, and ignore it if you're not willing to waste time/money/nerves.. |

Actually it is 1 of 50 level 9 ringleaders had been killed. If we will go on at this speed (killing one level 9 ringleader each week), we'll finish in one year only.

Actually the price is quite different than free. Last time I did check, one player did pay 20k gold for 1 exp. |

No one is forcing anyone to play anything, anyway. People can play if they wish to participate, or not.
LoS has always taken a position against ALL "endless" events that do not allow people with real lives to do well. Only players with endless "free time" on their hands win these things.
Maybe the admins will learn to place caps on events so that battles mean something. Until then, this is just more boring "grinding" for those with nothing better to do in their day.

well donating would be more worth while if i actually got the advantages of better weapons and armies.
But when the games AI is set up to nullify those advantages, donating becomes foolish.
I personally have to spent $150 US dollars to get 100 diamonds
100 diamond get me 225,000 game gold.
Just how many fully enchanted arts do you think I can get with 225,000 gold??

I can only play about 6 hrs a day, which is a lot of time to spend playing a game, that don't get me much FREE game gold.
It would take about 200 Real life days to make that much gold enrolling.
I appreciate a hard game too, but ridiculous is ridiculous.

I agree that we should be thankful for having an event and that without difficulty it's not interesting at all, but that kind of level is out of the line. Events are supposed to add to they excitement and pleasure in playing this game, but what's the point if only a small percent, of the 'huge' amount of players we have, enjoys it? I admire those players who do their best to kill, or even meet, one of those leaders, but how long until those players run out of gold and don't have enough for their full set? I don't think that the event is lame or that I don't like the idea, it's just the battling part that's killing the whole thing.
P.S: Battles followed by each other on vanguards. Not everyone can afford to spend so much acumulated time. It always takes me more than an hour and I haven't met a leader yet. |
I think they just copied this event from .ru without adjusting anything.
Even the warning message if you are in the wrong location is still in russian.
But they forgot that russians have more levels, more factions, better artifacts and more players.
It is not fun to see low level players with a few leather items and only half AP easily kill a boss when we struggle and cant even reach the max with max AP (63 AP) :( |
