This special ability is not mentioned anywhere on "about the game" forum, I know it's kinda obvious what it means but still I couldn't find it's properties ... is it new to griffins ? All this time I didn't notice it ROFL

its a special ability for brilliant unicorns. upgrade of unicorns.
Blinding brilliance:
† Triggering special ability.
When this creature attacks an enemy, there is a chance of blinding it. Blinded creatures cannot attack or move, but will regain their sight once dealt damage. This ability will not blind Undead, Elemental and Mechanical creatures. The effect duration is 1.6 combat turns.

Yes, quite, but I'm not sure why griffs availible at level 5 have it.. here's why..
1) The 'blind' spell is only availible at level 14
2) Brill. Unis are also only availible at level 14.
So... pretty much, useless ability.. would have more sense if the ability came with royal griffs, and normal griffs had something else |

You can meet B. Unicorns in hunts, ambushes, merc guild and possibly in some future event, so it is sometimes useful before level 14. |

It doesn't really matter to discuss the usefulness or uselessness of a griffon ability...it is what it is.
