gold record for ANY hunts are almost impossible. that's why you deserve the medal if you break the record
i think that all gold medals are really possible :P
the problem is that you have to spend about 4000 gold for enchanted arts to break them :P then most of times you just have to copy the strategy from russian server where records are higher :P |

| Hmmm don't know about your levels, but for levels 8-10 when I used to go after the hunt records it wasn't impossible at all. Don't get impressed by the first guy's enchanted arts, I did all my hunt records (and at that time they were gold, then the next generation broke them) with MH set. But for royal griffins especially it was impossible really ... battledive gives a very hard advantage over the past "stupid" griffins ... |

you should try rally + morale instead of luck
and wearing more arts would help a lot.
other than that it was properly fought. |

Do this again but instead of luck use all defense. Keep all your monks in one stack. When the diving is over, use monks as the wall, they have more hp than swordsmen and higher defense. Monks defend while sharpshooter shoot. Swordsmen are backup wall. |

i think a shed of hardcore steel would be better. it would protect all my creatures. moreover umbrellas would be hard for monks to hold for cross to aim

Flour well thats good suggestion though but for green level dont u think more arts is way too much?
I think if you want to set hunting records, you have to wear max arts.
Often times not just max arts but enchanted max arts or beastbane set. |

Even with rapid on xbows (if you are Holy Knight like I was back then) it's nearly impossible, maybe with morale but the griffins will still get you the next turn (since morale moves you back the next turn)
just did a 5 stack royal griffin hunt. well, my xbow dodge all the dive; but my monk had no place to run on 2nd dive, so i have no choice but sacrifice it.
yet, i do admit i have good terrain covered :)

If you place troops so after dive the griffins land where your crossbows used to be the next griffin to dive will hopefully hit the ones that just landed and you can then let a lot of the griffins kill each other. Similar to getting dragons to kill each other by getting a small stack to attack between 2 stacks of them so they shoot each other.
May be harder now but you can still use "smart" tactics to make these hunts easier on yourself. |
