while option 2 i think must be full spell power with help of hellfire. what is point of surviving without dealing damage?

well its ur choice. but i wanted u to have same 4 knowledge and 4 sp for option 2 as well and no hellfire. u can cast weakness at a mass range of 5x5 reducing 12 attk ^^!

anyways as i said before its completely ur choice. but do give feedback if u try.

Tried this type of build. Still using it in fact. My review:

4SP 4KN, rest on ATK
Not good for duel, at least on lv 13 :) Even if you manage to confuse n weaken the enemies, Demon is still too fragile. Might is still better. Would be quite good for 2v2 or 3v3, but still depends on teammates n enemies.
Good enemies: elf / knight / barb (confusion works really great)
Good teammates: Might build (if its wiz, the enemies will only focus on your troops, and you'll die really fast).

Min AP fight is really not recommended. Hunt will become harder (your damage output will be really low compared to before). You will become stronger against certain quests (knight invaders, monster quests). Thieving is better / no different (I'm not sure as I always use min AP anyways).

Hellfire need a different type of build: a full magic build. I'm not sure how effective it would be, but your hunts will definitely become impossible without assist :p

It's not as godly as you said, seriously. Might n magic has its pro and cons. It's good for diversity though.
I've seen battles where demons have no chance against dark builds. Low hp and high initiative is practically begging for poison. Is there any way to increase chances of survuval against dark builds e.g. necros and knights?

Hello all, I have a question.

Incendiaries are essential to a lv 9 demon? Or spawns are enough?
normally spawns are enough, but if you plan to go with magic built, incendiaries is a must to max out your survivability. they are also useful in st for low lvl.
And what is the best recruitment for a lv 9 demon in hunts?

Ex.: Max incendiaries, max sucubbus, max hell horses and the rest on spawns?
not sure about recruitment numbers, but probly 50 spawn, ~45 incend?, 22-24 wolf, i think is correct number, split wolf 24 stack into 20, 2 and 2 so that 2 stack of wolf can 100% gate additional one from hell. minimum succs. place in front row as distraction so enemy will kill them instead of powerful mele attackers. gate succs about in middle of field so 2 or 3 gated succ absorb one attack of enemy. max HH as they are powerful attacker and good init.

Hey, maybe you can help me a bit with my ambush setup fine tuning.

In the past I messed a bit around with mass dark magic, but it didn't seem to work very good, so I changed it back to a more attackwise build.

As you can see, I've still have 2 knowledge and basic darkness magic to cast a few disruption rays or another last second spell (due to SP 0 they only last 0.5 turns).

Do you think it's a (huge) waste?

I would keep it like this just to have something other to do with my hero than scratching zombie heads with my tiny axe. ;)
I made only a lvl 7 demon... but i can said.. pure might works well... if you want put some "curses" to get some advantage on important moments...

Trade 2 knowledge for 1 kowledge + 1 SP...

If you don't wanna use any magic spell pure might...

If you wanna mass disturp you can get darkness + dominion of pain, and put like 3 - 4 knowledge to keep decreasing armor... but i think this ins't a good idea at all...

Might demon is standard, so of course I tried it for a while. But I'm also trying to use darkness magic. I'm not so interested in the strongest build ever. I have no problem to trade a little disadvantage to more fun in the game. Mass magic though was a bit disappointing in minimum arts.

Nah, I don't think it makes a huge difference, since I mostly use only disruption. This way I have more spells.
I think delay,curse etc. can be more helpfull, buy it's your choose.
