| I've read that you can remove enchantments or upgrade them. If you remove them do you get any of the elements back that were used to enchant the item in the first place? |

Enchantements can be removed... You need to go in Blacksmith and chosen your art then you will see the enchants list with X to the right.
If you click X, then you will remove the enchantement but you won't earn the elements (they are lost)
