is there anyone who knows in what order lots will be shown on the market, if prices are the same?
for example ore - several lots are posted for the price of 187/1; lot of 50; for 3 days, but people that post their lots later, are first in the queue.
i posted 15 hours ago, Mirrion posted 4 hours ago, he's before me. MorozCo is always behind me, even if i post after him etc.
so, is there some sort of script at work, or is there a rule, and if there is one, can enyone explain it please? |

| As far as i know it is random, except for estates, there the lowest ID is always on top |

As I've observed it to be:
It's UNPREDICTABLE.
This is different from random. Random implies that there is an approximately even chance of lots been on top. Every time the page is reloaded, the lots could switch places.
This however, does not happen. The lots can switch places but they do not do so all the time. They do once in a while however.
I believe it has to do with database optimizing the query, as the database sees fit.
I am trying to explain some pretty technical stuff and I m not doing a good job :( |

Right now there are 4 sulfur lots on the market at the same price of 377.
They are ordered:
2694344 - posted 3rd
2694362 - posted 4th
2694043 - posted 2nd
2690879 - posted 1st
It is a clear proof that the order is not that in which the lots were posted, nor is it the reverse. |
