| well khell, since you asked this, you know this can be an official complaints... Asking in q&h is clever from you but i would prefer a message to jedi whereas public!

Let me answer, except scripts, none of your infos are officilly copyrighted! But in the case of script it s different and you are right to ask!
Since arctic had named the official script creator, modified them can be considered as unofficial! | The thing is, WGW's page is too dark and non-friendly, A&D gives it a better taste. :P
OK seriously now, what do you mean "copy" ? I know that both Arctic and Antiviolence is in your clan, so the scripts approved by them (Administration helper and script coder) and this makes WGW the copyrighted owner ? Wait a minute ... A&D aims to help newbies through the forums, letting them know what they can and cannot do, if they might be outdated - of some changes I didn't even see announced in public official forum - then all the other clans, even non MCs who have their own sites have to ask WGW for guidance ? That forum is not Arctic's forum, neither Antiviolence's and it should be that way. Let us know of such changes publicly and officially, like this and I'm sure any changes will be taken directly :

According to this I don't see any bad thing that A&D made, if I'm not mistaken all of the scripts listed on A&D's page is from these players and only.
P.S : I can leave A&D and post the same message again if you want. I'm not anyone's representative. | This is not just because Antviolence are a WGW member, but if you copy scripts, then I feel you should ask the authors first or at the very least acknowledges them and not try to hide the hard work they put into it.
i doubt antviolence nor wgw have copyrights or patent for these scripts so wheres the problem? if you dont want somethink to be copied it costs pile of euros in patent office:) | please, i would like to remind the respect needed for the wgw history on this server but i need to admit that a&d is doing good for the q&h section with their website...

First of all it is WG, not WGW.
You haven’t addressed the problem at all.
You can think that A&D is prettier what does that have to do with anything?
I personally don’t have a problem is they copy the scripts, but the problem is clearly stated:
1. When they copy, they take a responsibility to keep the legality up to date.
The map script is not legal anymore so they link to a now illegal script, while having Arctics name on it so people will think it is legal
The script writers are updating on the WG forum, and they need to keep up with them
2. Why is Antiviolence name missing from authorship while the “remember” everybody else

You could have just as easily written to me about this and I would have gladly replied. But since you have brought it up openly in Q%A (which is not the most appropriate avenue unless the intention is to smear rather than to ask), I'll reply you here then.
1. I found from personal experience in my years of playing LWM that I spent a lot of time going to all the helpful links about this great game.
The whole intention of that section of our clan forums is to provide an easy access point for all LWM players to use the multitude of info, help, tools, guides, etc, available from a myriad of sites. This way, all a player needs to do is to save one link, to gain access to all the useful information to play the game and build their characters.
2. Like I commented on the very first post of that thread, the scripts topic was created so that if whatever reasons, the WGW topic/site becomes unavailable, be it temporary or permanent, such important tools would not be lost or made unavailable to players.
Since WGW forums, like A&D's, are hosted on external sites, no one can guarantee the site would not be go down for maintainance, or even shut down. In such a scenario, wouldn't it beneficial for all to have an alternative site?
3. I was the one who wrote the credits for all the scripts. All I did was copy and pasted the authors directly from WGW site. I have NOTHING against WGW nor Antviolence, so there's no possible reason for me to omit his name and giving him the credit he deserves. As such, I'm pretty sure Antviolence's name was added AFTER I made/edited those posts.
Some of Arctic's posts have been edited recently (after I created that topic in A&D forums) and I doubt it was done by Arctic himself. Maybe you could have checked with whoever edited it and asked if Antviolence's name was indeed added recently before making such an accusation?
4. Afaik, there is no comment from Arctic in his first post that said WGW clan site is the only official place allowed to host the 'approved' scripts. He probably did so as he was a member of WGW at that time the topic was created. If he has said so, I would not have posted them in the first place.

In that respect, since Arctic, the creator of the scripts topic, is currently inactive, who decides when a script is no longer official'? Surely it's not feasible to go to WG's script topic and check every few hours, or even every day, to see if a script official status has been changed, right?
6. Lastly, I would like to add that the SOLE intention of that section of our clan page is to help newbies and the LWM community. Hopefully, new players to the game can learn as much as possible about this great game and with that knowledge, make them want to continue the LWM journey instead of giving up halfway, which seems to be the case for many of the new players.
I could easily have made it for A&D members only and shut it out from the rest of the LWM players. No problem for me. Just a few clicks away. But that would be very selfish of me, I would think.
If there's some official word from the administration that such scripts should only be made available in WGW forums, and no where else, then I would gladly remove the whole section from public access. No problem for me.
Contrary to what you believe, I have nothing against WGW, nor any other MCs as a whole.
It would be great (but idealistic of me?) if we all can look beyond our affiliations to our clans and work towards a better LordsWM. Without a strong and vibrate LordsWM, what good are clans/MCs anyway... ?
As I have said many times - we are all first and foremost, a member of LWM, than a member of ANY clan/MCs.

b) There is a lot of backup on the many users so fear not for the black hole :o)

b) Few hours or days. It has been months since it became illegal, after the packmaster event (about 3 months or about 90 days or 5400 hours :o)
c) The changes was based on a legal script writer

It was a bit long, many of the things are irrelevant since you discuss things that I have not mentioned.
But a good dialogue and happy you have added Antviolence credits
Maybe also change the “other place” too WG (it is shorter and correct) if you don’t mind it but this is just a personal wish not a requirement

Anything that you have open to the public is up for copying.
That's why you have public and private sections to your forum.
Moreover, once it's copied, it does not have to be kept up to date with WG forum and more importantly it can be modified.
This is just the rules of public domain. Feel free to copy A&D's publicly posted info.

So yes, the script is illegal. On .ru the map move scripts don't even work anymore, the admins changed the coding of the map to prevent them from working. | Well let me clarify things :
Both website are usefull for Q&H and that is the most important as sage... What is the point saying i m the first as, i m the best in...
