yes, those questions should be asked in GGF in special topic about elves tactic. (the last one is outdated, you can create a new one). But, anyway, i'll say:
For PVP:
- Max EFKs
- Then max bows
- Then druids
sprites are usuless here
For PVE:
Same recruiting, but in some hunts versus slow units like zombies, it is better to use sprites. |

Swarm can move enemy unit atb back...
Like if you gonna fight agains't one barbarian, use swarm on orc, and you probbly will shot first.
So at my opnion a good settle is..
Max EB, 26 - 30 Spirits, 20 - 40 fks, 6 - 8 druids... |
#4, misslead info about Sprite Wasp Swarm, they only do damages and no move enemy unit on the atb back... This is on the spell from hero!
Indeed the no retal and fly can be usefull, up to you to change troops, fight to fight as welll as talent!

Only just started playing as Elf but killed a lot of them as Necro. Purely on Sprites. I personally use one of 3 options depending on battle
a) No Sprites: to give me an extra setup slot for another single efk retal taker
2) 3 Sprites: I can recruit this many at level 12 without reducing other troops. Use to remove neg effects (as above) or to block other stacks from hitting something I dont want to die. Specially useful due to flying and decent speed to help protect bows.
3) max Sprites - for hit and run type hunts etc
Lastly, together with tactics talent, Sprites are one of the few Elf units which can help block opponents archers from shooting until other troops get across battlefield. |
@6 The main point of use spiries is the swarm back atb...
But think it's not work... They aren't useless if used correctly can be good, but agree with you, i prefer FK/EFK than spirites... |
| I dont prefer fk/efk. I prefer whatever is best for current situation & Sprites wasps were never meant to knock back turn unlike heroes so arn't broken. |

Sprite swarm DOES NOT push back on atb. Sprite spell description does not say so and it is witnessed to not be so. |

@11 Pat you can delete, no problem.
I said that because i saw one EB shoting first than orcs after he have used swarms... But after you said swarm don't move atb back, i look at replay again, and he just was with more initiative... |
