although there are 1k+ people online now, it is so long waiting for an ambush now.
I believe people are travelling more frequently now, but ambush harder. cause of the free mount? |

same problem for me
sometimes waiting 20-30 minutes
(which is for a level 13 longer than usual) |

If anything the mounts make ambushing more likely as people are moving around more/quicker.
Each trip has the same chance to triggering ambushes regardless of the speed of traveller. |

i thought it was every x seconds game checks if you get ambushed or not / triggering the ambush for thief.
So with shorter travel duration also less triggers. |
I have been using a mount pretty much constantly for past few months. There is no difference in amount of times I am ambushed either with it or without.

but that is due to a bug where you can still get ambushed even after you arrived at the location. Or was that fixed already? |

I think it is fixed, at least has not happened to me again for past 4 months(ish) and no one else has mentioned it in convos. |
