A character may borrow gold from other players. There is no official means of loaning gold, e.g a bank.
But there are also several rules to consider when taking loans.

3.13.1. Additional characters are not allowed to loan, lend or borrow any game valuables.
You may not receive a loan from an additional character or, if you are an additional character, you cannot take a loan.
3.14 Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 20,000 * [Combat level] gold. The maximum term for loans is 1 month, unless the comments to the transfers state a shorter period.
So essentially, you may not take more than you are allowed by the equation above. You must return your loans within the month or face a penalty or block from administration.
You cannot pay tax on loans or take tax on loans.
Do not ask on the forums for a loan. We consider that to be begging. If you wish to get a loan, you should ask a player in private rather than publicly. |

No I cannot. You may wish to know that you must be level 3 to accept transfers anyway. So once you reach level 3 and can receive transfers, at that level you will too be able to Private Mail other players.
When that time does come, please do ensure that you don't just go begging every player that you see. Some people do this when trying to find loans and other players can find it particularly aggravating. |

| it doesn't matter weather your level 2 or 22 if u have 0 money you cant progress really, this game is lords of war and 'money' i have learned after going broke to bet smaller on each bet lol. |
