The spell makes target stack of enemy creatures forget what they are doing on the battlefield. Part of the stack's creatures do not retaliate or shoot. The spell does not affect Undead, Elemental and Mechanical creatures.
Stack's ranged and retaliation damage is reduced by an amount depending on the caster's Darkness magic talent level. |

wrong, totaly.
well, it decrease ALL range and retal (include both melee and range) dmg with 25/40/55/70% regarding your dark mastery on no/basic/adv/expert level.
this effect only work on living creatures. |

I think it means that the amount of creatures involved in the attack or defense/retaliation is reduced by 25/40/55/70% - and so the damage they deal is reduced
i.e. 25/40/55/70% do not fight and the rest deal normal damage (but since there are fewer of them, there is less overall damage from the stack) |
but still decrease attack..
therefore exists <weakness> spell.
confusion decreases counterstrike/ranged damage. |
