| Yes. You are effectively pre-arranging to stack the odds in one player's favour. |
A staged combat by definition is one where any one of the parties or party members intentionally loses to the other for any reason different from having technical problems with access to the game. Instigation to losing a combat and promising to lose a combat is also forbidden.
well i am not asking the player to lose
its more of an unfair fight...

Well think rationally. The chances of two players of the same level, with similar faction levels, going head to head, one with maximum AP, the other with minimum AP, is a staged combat.
Just because you don't explicitly say to the minimum art player that they should lose, doesn't mean you haven't set it up so they will lose. |

coz i am thinking to ask players to travel without arts when i'm setting the ambush
n i'm not telling the player to lose
it can be a normal battle
the player also has a chance to win
so i want to know whether encouraging might risk my account or no |
Why don't you ask players one level lower or higher than you to travel for you if you want an ambush trigger? Then this is not an issue.
It's not an issue if you ambush a min arts player in full arts just randomly. It becomes an issue if you are constantly ambushing the same person with full arts on, whilst they have minimum arts. Especially if it is proven that you were arranging these combats before hand.
Best to err on the side of caution and avoid it :) |

It's not an issue if you ambush a min arts player in full arts just randomly.... Especially if it is proven that you were arranging these combats before hand.
