| I am going to my hometown for two weeks, and would be logging in from there, and so the ip will change, it might also be dynamic for this period. So I have mentioned this in my personal info, so is this ok? I mean many have been blocked because of change in IP and stuff. | yes it is ok
others are blocked cuz there ip clashes with a player and there have been transaction between there characters and maybe some battles also | You would only have a problem if you logged in from 2 IPs in different geographics areas continually with very short time between logins as this would show most probably password sharing abuse.
If you go to a different IP(s) for a couple of weeks then this would be normal as many people will do the same while on vacation or elsewhere due to work etc. | I have a question regarding using different computers.
I play from several of them: my laptop, computer at work, computers of my friends when i go to them (becouse i teached them it is ok if i just do a quick enroll or a hunt ;) ), my wife laptop, sometimes from internet caffes when i am out of town for some buisenes.
Altough, most time it is first two cases.
Do i have to put that on my profile?
Becouse i see plenty of people do that.
I dont have additional characters, so i thought there is no danger of being accused of something, i dont brake rules, at least i think so :)
But now when i read this deatisnears post, i was thinking, since i usually leave account logod on, it is posibble that i leave it loggod home, and then lets say go to a friend, and then log on from his computer.
That could get me banned, right?
Becouse it seems like there are two people using account.
Am i right? | The more information you put in profile the less chance of admins making the wrong conclusions I guess.
Though in general I would think that they mainly look at the chars which are also breaking other rules and are reported in CaA forum.

Many people including myself are on dynamic IP. My IP periodically changes even though it's the same computer with the same connection. I can also change my IP by resetting my modem.

IP Change abuse is really about this. It is to prevent password sharing, account sharing, and account transfers. |
