by the time troops get their turn they have already lost 18-24 defense n are an easy kill
exaggerated...... You mean by the time necro disrupting the enemy troops, they are just waiting to get killed ??.... maximum defense enemy unit loose before their turn to hit is 12... and that can be compensated with stoneskin, thats why guards have large shield so they can't get killed by range and force vamp and appa to go melee on them.....
However.. I feel for knights being slow faction, you should raise that issue instead of Disrupt ray OP.....If disrupt ray wasn't what it is right now,killing wizards would be impossible for dark magic casters...
so if you say weaken the strength of disrupt ray,dark necros will never be able to beat chaos casters since rest all other spells are useless against them and neither they will be able to kill guards with stoneskin, delayed or not as they can stun too.

You made a statement that a spell (Disruption ray) is overpowered because a particular faction (Necromancers) uses it to great effect against you. You did not show that other factions (I would love you to show a Demon who does this) can also exploit or abuse that same spell. You did not even show that you (Knight) can abuse or exploit that same spell. Sounds like you're in a campaign to nerf a particular faction (Necromancers) and you're hiding behind the pretense that a particular spell (Disruption ray) or spell class (Darkness) is overpowered. I don't believe that the game is totally fair and balanced but you just sound like whining to me, man. |
