Hello
I am writing this because i am getting really frustrated with the merc task system. The ones I am supposed to be protecting and always commitinga suicide.For example the one with Shrews. It is always like that,they run away next to ogres and then i lose.. Would it be possible to make those who we need to protect a little bit smarter ? Its like i have the game in my pocket and then they commit suicide... anyone else bothered by this ? |

well, that is the challenge for vanguard of barbarian.
you just need to block shrew until ogres get close enough, then you release the shrew to help you since they have strike and return. else, you could continue to block them and finish the ogres yourselves for a higher fsp reward.
we should be thankful since only shrew will rush out and others such as farmer and gar stay behind |

| Their behavior is no different than when you encounter them as neutrals. Haven't you noticed that when you hunt them, they would nicely move into your range if they can't attack, so that you can get the first whack? Fair is fair. If admins make them smarter, let's see how you'll like them in hunts. |

Basically build a wall of 3 "1" stacks around them so they can't move anywhere :) |

So, you always fight against barbarians ? You could try other vanguards too. |

Since you are level 10 you can easily beat them with just a little intelligence.Use ogre and rocs for blocking and wolf and orcs as main attacking unit. |
