If you see I bought it for 3.5k only thinking that its a useless art and can be sold for 10k after repair.

But here,
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1920065
according to many people its worth a lot.
SO question:

How much gold (minimum) should I return to the player so that the transaction is legal.

or is it legal now?

P.S:I will only return after selling it.ANd dont want to sell art back to her.
No, I really doubt it is legal. The only reason she sold it to you is because she got it for free.

08-20-12 03:11: Received item(s): 'Longbow [E10A10F10]' [0/38] from h4nd

IMO the best thing to do is sell it back to her for 3.5k plus repair price which was 3800. So have her buy it for 7.3k.
for KnightofDusk:
Dont want to sell back.
But i am ready to pay back gold as far as it becomes legal.

Cause lot of time spent on it.Thats why.
send her 70% of the element cost
70%?
That will be above gift limit.

All done within 10 hours. Not really all that much time. You don't have close to enough gold to compensate for the difference. Trying to sell it would cost you more time and you don't even know if someone will be willing to buy it. Fastest and safest solution is to sell it back for 7.3k. If not then send to empire for 7.3k with a message or description.
no i want to sell it for profit :)
70%?

I'm not quite sure you understand the situation. Right now it would look as if bone_hunter is sending you a gift that can be considered financial assist. There's a chance that she will get penalized and you will have the bow confiscated.

Doesn't look too good to profit from something "illegally obtained". It's not a matter of what you want to do, it's more like what you have to do.

Your question has been answered, it is not a legal transfer.

Elements itself are worth: (correct me if I'm wrong)
E10 2400x30=72,000
A10 3400x30=102,000
F10 5300x30=159,000
Total=333,000
New bow is 20k and it has been repaired 13 times.
Still think you can pay the worth?
for KnightofDusk:
yes of course :)

Just woke up so to tired to calculate the value the the bow.
But I want to point out that it was very far from new, so you cannot use element cost to calculate the value.

You have use what the value of "one use" of the enchanted longbow is and then calculate what the price it need to be in its current state, not the new one.

Well that is quite obvious. I'm just pointing out the worth if the bow was new. I don't want to go through the trouble of calculating actual worth. I wanted to give him an idea of the bow's worth. I'd estimate that it's somewhere between 100k and 200k.
YEs.
and my gift limit is 60k.
So i caN easily pay her for it :)
I'd estimate that it's somewhere between 100k and 200k.
My quick calculation would be 165k, if it should match the "cost per combat" of making a new one. (Could be mistake it is very early on a Sunday, and didn't expect to do math.)

Conclusion this transaction is below what can be considered "a good deal"

Either send it back for your cost or pay more for it. Don't have to be 165k - your expenses since you are allowed discounts (But not as big as you have gotten).
send her 60k is fine?

Cover up the difference between the lower price I've named in that post and the price you've bought it for + money spent on repair and you're good.
TY :)
