Its written 'intended'. Intended word doesn't mean that it is 'onlu' for female characters. has anyone tried it out yet?

On females can equip them. Just as males can only use the arts intended for male characters.

Perhaps, if they really value that early tournament bonus then I suppose why not. I don't believe it's the main reason however.
