Shall I ask you one thing - How to write a computer program? What would be your answer?
Its the same thing. Avatar making is an art (I am not referring to those who just take up some images from the net). One way is to just take up ready made images/animation from the internet and sell those animations stating that you have made them yourselves! There are many people here you do that! But this is completely unethical. Now, if you are talking about those who sell their own avatars, its like making a software. They have to first get the frames for the animation, and then they have to animate. You might have seen posters on 'Animation Courses' in your neighbourhood. This could be said as a small part of it. |

No it's not related to computer programming.
But like writing programs you need to have a lot of basic skills and understanding as well as some creative skills before you can make custom avatars.
Once you have a good understanding of the software needed to create art you will find it simple to create animated avatars. These skills though require a lot of time and creativity and not something someone can teach in a Q&H topic.
As said above though, don't be tempted to steal someone else's work from the net and try and pass it off as your own. |
