Wind whispered in the crowns of the tree when the caravan of
crossbowmen, swordsmen and monks traveled on the dusty road through the
green forests of the East Bay.
Suddenly an elf appeared on the road, signing the lord of the knights to stop.
Taqtics began to get upset "Go out of my way elf, or my will forget myself. YOU and your
race betrayed me in so much cases, you are never easy to understand and have left me in my
darkest times."
The elf lord responded calmed and logical : "This is our territory and you come here in
full weapons and try to get over this street with brute force ? No, I won't let you go any longer in this woods."
The knight signed his commanders to get ready for battle. Cold anger grew in his mind and he was sure to break his way trough with sheer force.
"Knight, before I will send you and your followers back home, I want to let you know my
name, Kakan, what happened to you wasn't my fault or the fault of my race. Live long and prosper."
But even those words weren't able to stop the upset knight and he shouted at his troops to attack the elf. And this command went into an disaster. Completely underestimating the power and swiftness of the elves he forgot everything he learned about defensive strategies and blindly started the fight. And he had to pay for it, helplessly seeing how the Elite Forest Keepers of this elf wrecked havoc in his rows.
And through this loss he learned his lesson, from now on he would never again underestimate an elf again or judge him just because of those things an other elf did to him. And when he was defeated he walked up to the elf and said thanks to him for opening up his eyes.
