| What is the difference between getting an efficiency spell ( say Basic Nature) and getting erudition to raise spell power by 2? Which is better? magic efficiency spell only raise spell power of those spells like magic punch and raise dead for me by 1 spell power. Correct? Which is better to take? | Totally wrong.
Erudition gives you free stats to distribute at your own choice.
Magic talents, like Chaos magic, Nature magic etc, makes the spell formula better.

For example, without the Nature talent, the formula for raise dead is
120+15*Spell power
But with basic Nature magic it is
136+17*Spell power
In this case, if you get +2 SP from erudition, it makes Raise dead stronger only if you are high level, and have much base SP. It may be different for other spells, and it is even different for one spell in different situations. |
